Guy Fetherstonhaugh is Joint Head of Falcon Chambers.  While sharing with his colleagues in Chambers a wide practice in commercial property law, Guy specialises in rent review work (co-authoring the principal text on the subject), development agreements, and easements and restrictive covenants (having recently appeared in the Court of Appeal in leading cases on each subject).

Jonathan Karas is a member of Falcon Chambers.  Jonathan's practice embraces all aspects of land law. He has acted in numerous leading cases. His work extends from litigation and advice concerning leases, transfers, development agreements and rights over land to the law of planning and compulsory purchase, highways and waterways, manorial rights, commons and greens. Mathew Ditchburn

Mathew Ditchburn is head of the Hogan Lovells' Real Estate Disputes team. He provides wide-ranging advice on all aspects of property litigation, including commercial landlord and tenant and redevelopment. Mathew’s particular specialisms include insolvency-related matters, in which he acts for landlords, lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners. He is a regular contributor to the real estate and insolvency press and speaker at industry conferences, as well as being the immediate past chair of the Property Litigation Association, Vice-Chair of the British Property Federation's Insolvency Committee, former Chair of the Joint Insolvency Committee and a member of R3 (the association of insolvency professionals).

Nicholas Cheffings

Nicholas Cheffings is a former partner and global Chair of Hogan Lovells, who led the real estate disputes (property litigation) team in London, latterly alongside Mathew Ditchburn. He has specialised in all aspects of commercial property litigation for over 35 years, acting for a wide range of clients and covering all sectors. He is an honorary member of RICS, an experienced mediator and arbitrator and has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars on real estate matters.

Stephanie Tozer is a member of Falcon Chambers.  She litigates and advises about all types of property dispute.  She has a particular interest in real property disputes, but is also experienced in all types of landlord and tenant work.  Like Guy and Jonathan, Stephanie is also a member of Falcon Chambers Arbitration.  She is also an  accredited mediator, and a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) (Land Registration).

David has prepared over 2,500 reports on boundary disputes, in addition to authoring books, publishing articles and giving oral evidence in Court.  As well as appearing on BBC’s “Neighbours at War”, David gives talks throughout the world on boundary disputes.  He is a past Chairman of the Geomatics faculty of the RICS, a member of the RICS Neighbour Dispute Panel and Land Registry Rules Committee, and has recently finished drafting the next edition of “Anstey’s Boundary Disputes”.

Paul Tonkin

A Partner in Hogan Lovells' leading Real Estate Disputes Team, Paul Tonkin focuses on development disputes.
